It always amazes me how Spirit/our Angels, finds a way to communicate about our estranged loved ones that we may be missing, or to bring a message from a departed loved one. The communication, I believe, is from Spirit validating eternal love and life.

On my birthday, three days ago, a cardinal flew up to my front window and just sat in the tree. I believe this gorgeous bird was bringing me a “Happy Birthday” message from my mom who passed away just one year ago. I had been crying all morning missing her, and this gorgeous red bird appeared, a cardinal. “The red cardinal is a spiritual messenger from God.” It represents a departed loved ones “attempting contact.” Afterwards, I posted the pic on my Instagram and my friend Brett wrote, “Wendy!! Remember the reading I gave you??!! I told you that I saw cardinals and blue jays??!!” I had forgotten about that. She was spot on. As I am typing this, the song, “Heaven” (En Espanol) by Los Lonely Boys began playing. Spiritual communication and validation.

At the very beginning of my recovery from Substance Use Disorder, now in my ninth year, I had a great deal of anxiety. My love at that time, Steve, gave me this rock to keep in my purse so that I could hold it in my hand whenever I felt anxious, and of course, it reminded me of my connection to Steve. I had been told early in my recovery that if I were to hold something tangible in my hand when I felt anxious, it would focus my attention on the item rather than my anxiety. I would hold this rock in my hand, and move it around constantly to mitigate my anxiety. I had it with me at all times, and it worked along with deep breathing, and visualization.

This morning, I was cleaning out an old purse, and there was my rock. I had not seen this rock in over a year. This rock also has great sentimental value to me. Although I am no longer in touch with the man who gifted this to me, he is always in my heart. I believe Spirit “showed” this to me today as a way of reminding me that we are always connected energetically.

Directing our brain to focus purposefully allows us to be in charge of our thoughts, and our behaviors, and of our wellness.

If we are open to Spiritual communication, we will be blessed to see and hear things beyond our physical limitations. And…

We are always connected.

Experience the “uncomfortability.” This is the space where we find deeper meaning and growth.

Feel it. Allow it. Validate it. Take a break.

Stand up. Wash your face. Take a walk.

Breathe…

Tomorrow continue your inner work. Baby steps.

“Our fundamental awareness and deep intuitive nature speaks gently to us when we seek the truth. Our integrity is showcased in our decision to meet that truth and to not compromise our love and respect of ourselves, and others. It is shown when we continue to hold ourselves to our highest standards in following our divine path.

I cannot change what happened yesterday, but today is a new day and I will do my best to remember my lessons learned. If I falter, please be patient and encourage me. I am a work in progress, learning and growing every day. If I do not do my best today, tomorrow I will try again. Please encourage me to continue to seek my highest potential, kindly and lovingly. I will respond lovingly, and I will remember your loving words. Otherwise, all I will remember are the failures of yesterday which may cause me to continue to fail. Encourage me. Focus on the good and the positive, and that will expand over time.

The best moments are the little, yet profound moments when we connect with the ​Universe​. Spiritual awareness is where all growth, connection, and healing begins, within ourselves and within our relationships. This is an organic and powerful alliance and a gift through the ​loving support​ and connection​ to the ​Universe​. We must dig deeply within to make that ​connection​, to be willing to face ourselves, and to be brave in seeing ourselves authentically and in making changes that will allow us to further evolve emotionally, and spiritually. 

This is where the work begins, and it is a lifelong education. We must remain open to becoming spiritual students. We open the channels​ of communication that lead and guide us each day to live a gorgeous life, one in which we discover the energy of our own unique spirit and of our own power. We can achieve an awareness of our highest self​ through conversations in meditation and prayer with the Universe, which are a deep and meaningful source of a series of little, yet monumental, moments. These moments have the power to elevate our awareness to a ​higher​ level, which creates a transformation of the human spirit.

I remind myself each day of my blessed journey of wellness recovery, and that I am doing my absolute best, that we all need validation now and again, and that it is all in God’s plan. This is where I release all that challenges me in knowing that whatever, and whomever is meant for me will show up at the perfect time. In the meantime, I continue to be an astute, eager, and loving Spiritual student.”

“As I continue to share my journey of wellness, body, mind and spirit, I want to share that it is imperative for one to have balance in their life, to HAVE A VOICE, as well as a very deeply rooted spiritual practice. When you are supported and aligned with Spirit, you are able to SAFELY stand in your power.

Today once again, I am shown that many people cannot face themselves and therefore misrepresent who they are. Today was frightening and mind blowing, yet , due to my strength, intelligence and spiritual alignment, I am safe.

I will continue along my spiritual journey and await the Universe’s next directive for me in love.

I am blessed with a sixth sense that “tuned into” these “imposters” initially. This has been an enlightening experience, and lesson in always “trust your gut.“

I stand in my power!

I have met so many potential partners this past month. Not one has a clue, even at middle-age, what “nourishment of love and relationship” entails. Mostly “serial daters,” and unfortunately serial “story tellers” who are not in it for love, but for conquest.

I know he’s out there! I’ve given up on dating sites as I’ve never met a “match” in the various times I’ve tried over the years.

I will await the Universe to send me a “match” in a more creative manner where I will be certain of one’s intentions, integrity and spiritual alignment with love.

The Universe Speaks…Are You Listening?

“A miracle presented itself yesterday afternoon in an answer to a prayer. I have been preparing for the Universe to open this pathway for me for years…

I’ve always acknowledged that I was being groomed for this next step, and as if Spirit literally tapped me on the shoulder, whispered the answer, and lovingly pointed me in the right direction, all obstacles were dissolved in one conversation. This Divine guidance occurred instantaneously and so organically…there it was…the destination that I have imagined, and prayed for…

I’ve awaited this opportunity with patience and discipline in “knowing” that when the time was right, this next step would be revealed. A Course In Miracles says, “Those who are certain of the outcome can afford to wait, and wait without anxiety.“

This miraculous journey of my wellness approach to recovery has paved the way for a brand new beginning in a brand new place, albeit far from those I love.

As I prepare for this next step within the next 2 months, I will elaborate on the details.

In the meantime, my message today is a simple one…

When we stand in our faith aligned with spiritually aligned thoughts and actions, unencumbered by the cacophony of noise, and of the circumstances and people that may appear to be obstacles, we are “shown” the clear path beyond the detours on the long and winding road.

We arrive at our destination, with still so much to learn, to see, to experience, and to share with others who are eager to experience the blessings of a spiritual journey…

A miracle.”
