I am that black or white kind of gal…not interested whatsoever in superficial pleasantries or awkward small talk…
I have so much to offer…I seek the same energy in return…
Others who are genuine, who are not indifferent to my life story and who actually want to “go deeper” in order to strengthen our bond.
And of course…vice versa…
And I am definitely not called to engage with anyone whose smile is the mask that covers their lying eyes.
I have a handful of relationships where we are eager to engage in truthful, meaningful conversations and where we feel safe to do so.
We share, we laugh, we cry, we seek deeper meaning and whatever the circumstances…we are always there to support each other.
Superficial is not connection. It is a forced act of an empty performance.
