As I observe hate and unkind words, I send a blessing of love as I recognize that this is a response of one who feels unloved, unworthy and insignificant. We can only give away what we ourselves have.
As for me, I am filled with love, and always give it away, especially in the face of fear, judgement, and hate. Love is the antidote.
As in the prayer of Saint Francis of Assisi, “Where there is hatred, let me sow love.”
