PRINCESS – LOVE, WENDY

“He used to call me “princess” in a derogatory and condescending manner. He knew it was a trigger for me, and that it hurt me as I did not identify with this label, but this was his best self sabotage…

He wanted out, he wanted in, he knew not what he wanted, so he left the back door open…where his “princess” finally escaped. He abdicated his throne, and she straightened her crown.

She’s now the Queen…of her own life, awaiting her King.

The door to the castle is always open to the right suitor…one with integrity, humility, trustworthiness, and one who loves himself and who is excited to love his Queen.

WE will never be Royals.”

MENTAL HEALTH AND WELLNESS CARE – LOVE, WENDY

Offering mental health and wellness support/care takes more than “one and done.”

When we see someone living with a mental health challenge who could use a smile, a kind word, or our time, as long as we are practicing our own self-care first, and setting boundaries for self preservation in place, we must offer more than just a one time check in. There are so many, especially in today’s climate, who are alone and isolated and need to be reminded of their worth.

This type of loving support can make all the difference in someone’s wellness. They are assured that they are cared about, thought about, and that they are significant.

And…

If you are meeting with a counselor/coach who closes their eyes for an extended period of time while you’re speaking, or one who is texting, or answers a call during your session, please do not accept this behavior. I urge you to advocate for yourself, let them know that this is unprofessional, that it makes you feel insignificant and unheard, and it is your right to fire them.

The person that we choose to share our journey with is a personal choice, and one that speaks to what we feel we deserve.

No matter who it is, we teach people what we will accept, and how to treat us.

Love and blessings,

Wendy

THE UNIVERSE IS MY CLASSROOM – LOVE, WENDY

“With each day, I am tasked with learning new, much more challenging pedagogy. I ask the Universe to guide me, to offer me patience and insight, and I can’t help but wonder with excitement what the Universe is preparing me for…and I sometimes secretly wonder if I have got what it takes…

I rest and rejuvenate…

And I continue on.

I know that my full purpose will be revealed at the right time…

Until then, I am a student and a teacher…yet, always a student. The Universe is my classroom…Spirit is my teacher.”

BEING REALISTIC AND OPTIMISTIC – LOVE, WENDY

“When we are encouraged by others to take risks, we must consider the agenda. Is it going to solely benefit them financially, and are they considering our best interest if we are to take a blind risk. As I told a former colleague, “you can remain in a positive mindset and believe in all you pray for, keeping in mind time is fluid, resources are limited in our current climate, and knowing that if we leave our current steady stream of income for that “money goes where energy flows” mindset, we better have a plan B.”

As my mother used to say, “Money doesn’t fall out of the trees just because we visualize it.”

MY LAST RELATIONSHIP – LOVE, WENDY

“My last relationship was a Divine gift.

It taught me about listening to my gut the first time I see a red flag.

It taught me to pay attention to the patterns of continuous untruths and when someone becomes so defensive and begins “projecting,” where you experience a visceral reaction, to walk away permanently. Your body is offering you important information through the Divine…A blessing….

And finally, it taught me to only accept loving behaviors from one with integrity and honesty which will enhance my life, where I will be certain that I am loved and wanted.

My last relationship taught me what I do NOT want, hence teaching me what I do want, and what true love, twin flames, and soulmates are all about.”
