Facing His Truth – Love, Wendy

When a man lacks self-worth and has lived a life of lies and deceit to cover his feelings of inadequacy, he aligns himself with those who are also liars and deceitful, and who use power to manipulate and control others because he feels more comfortable in an environment where deception is the norm.

The use of power in such circles is often a means to keep the truth buried, and to avoid exposure of their own weaknesses.

By aligning with them, he may feel momentarily empowered, as if the false narratives they weave can shield him from the discomfort of facing his own truths.

But this alliance also perpetuates his cycle of self-deception, as he becomes more entangled in a world built on illusions and manipulations, living mostly in a “virtual reality,” and further distancing him from the possibility of genuine self-acceptance, growth, and healthy relationships.

Invest in Love – Love, Wendy

Some people invest themselves in their pain and turn away from love.

The thought of love and real connection feels too risky, and so they build walls, retreating into the familiar pain and suffering rather than opening themselves to the possibility of healing.

In this mindset, they miss the chance to transform that pain. We need to remind ourselves that “love is not the absence of pain”, but the presence of vulnerability and the courage to let ourselves be seen and heard.

Those of us who are brave take the risk, and we learn that both joy and heartbreak can coexist and can be transformational.

Swallowing one’s feelings and emotions, and choosing to remain stuck in an old story just because it “feels” familiar and even “safe,” feeds and breeds inflammation on a cellular level.

Choose LOVE…

Spiritual Immunization – Love, Wendy

Spiritual immunization means putting oneself first, daily, using spiritual solutions and self care practices. This includes any healthy practices that create an environment of peace, joy and wellness with a foundation in faith and gratitude.

When we are “spiritually immunized,” we set limits, and implement healthy boundaries to protect our own energy. We are deeply connected to Spirit, and we are of service to others seeking a spiritual immunization and spiritual lifestyle.

When we are “spiritually immunized,” we are unshakeable in our faith regardless of the cacophony of intended distractions that surround us by those who have not yet found their Divine light within.

When we are “spiritually immunized,” we continue to lead by example, radiate positive energy as we lead the way, and we stand ready to guide those who step onto their spiritual path when they are ready.

When we are “spiritually immunized,” we know that we are lovingly guided, and we live with peace in our soul…

Life is not meant to be stressful and chaotic.

A “spiritual immunization” reminds us that our wellness comes first, to stand in faith, and to allow ourselves the freedom to live, laugh, love and learn.

Spiritual immunization promotes wellness.

Language – Love, Wendy

Dis-ability means you have lost your ability–no longer able.

Challenge means that we have the ability to overcome. We need only to mindfully put forth the effort to create change.

Language can be empowering…and it can be “dis-abling.”

There is power fueling our thoughts and words.

Challenge yourself to think and speak with intention.

Speak your truth.

Reset your mindset to be open to new possibilities.

Take a small action step towards your goal.

Practice daily commitment, and challenge becomes change.

Love and blessings,

Wendy

From Stress to Serenity- Love, Wendy

Our emotional health is such an overlooked factor in influencing the length and quality of an individual’s life.

Shaping lifespan refers to the ways in which both genetic and environmental factors influence the length and quality of an individual’s life. The concept encompasses a range of biological, social, and lifestyle determinants that interact to affect longevity.

Poorly managed, or unmanaged chronic stress, an allostatic load, fuels unhealthy coping habits like overeating and substance use that promotes dis-ease, eroding health and wellness, and shortening one’s lifespan, especially when we are not taking time to practice self care to balance our emotional and physical states. When we are experiencing chronic stress, the body remains in a constant state of ‘fight or flight,’ which leads to persistent inflammation, hormonal imbalances, and a weakened immune system.

This ongoing wear and tear, known as allostatic load, accelerates the aging process, increases susceptibility to chronic illnesses like heart disease, diabetes, and autoimmune disorders, and can severely impact mental health.

Moreover, in severe cases, poor emotional health impacts one’s longevity when individuals who are feeling unwell, emotionally, or living with a mental health disorder that goes untreated, tragically end their own lives prematurely…which is occurring at unprecedented rates.

At this time of year between holiday stress, financial stress, living with a chronic illness, grieving those we’ve lost, or reflecting on a year filled with challenges, it’s imperative to remember the importance of self-compassion and balance.

When we actively practice self-care—whether through mindfulness, exercise, healthy eating, or seeking professional support—we can counteract the effects of stress, restore balance to our bodies and minds, and cultivate a more sustainable, healthier lifestyle.

When we invest in our well-being, we promote long-term health, vitality, and even longevity. The choices we make for ourselves on a daily basis either creates inflammation, or wellness.

Please remember to take a break when you need to during this season, and throughout the year as a lifestyle practice.

This can look like unplugging from social media, daily intentional self care, or reaching out to a trusted friend or mental health professional when you need support.

TAKE A BREAK.

Resting in “Pieceful” Vulnerability – Love, Wendy

There are times, especially on a holiday like Thanksgiving when I find myself solo today due to illness, that I need to sit in stillness as I reflect, as I feel, and as I process all that I have lost, and all that is my new normal.

My pain is only mine to carry, but all of your loving messages on this day reminds me I’m not alone in this confusing, and sometimes frightening world. It’s a gentle reminder that I am worthy of love, even when I feel broken and alone.

Thank you for being here energetically today…

not as my protector, but as a loving companion. Please continue to hold my hand energetically until I find my way. Please allow me to continue to “feel” every piece as I sit in this vulnerable and safe space. This will help me to remember my strength and resilience as I continue to search my soul. So much has been lost, and much has been gained. Perspective.

Today I give thanks for each of you and your loving support which has been the most precious gift of giving. And I smiled with each loving message this morning, and with each bite of my solo Thanksgiving feast which I prepared.

I am resting in pieces, one by one, taking baby steps back to myself in my rebirth and homecoming.

I am taking only the next action that resonates with me on a blank canvas in the rain.

Wendy

To Thine Own Self Be True – Love, Wendy

Life is not to be lived with so many restrictions imposed by others who inflict their irrational and skewed words and behaviors in order to manipulate one’s personal choices in daily living. “They” are living with limited visions and abilities that are born of fear and greed.

The moment you submit is the moment you give away your power.

Design your own personal safe space that aligns with what you feel in your soul to be your truth…your inner knowing.

Generate a flow of ease and grace that is built on the foundation of love and an open space where all are free to express, to be heard, and to be respected.

Stand up for yourself. Live in harmony with your own personal values, morals and boundaries that protect your peace, wellness and safe space.

Honor your soul.

Honor your space.

Honor your truth.

Before your health and wellness are compromised…honor yourself.
