I had been asked to speak to a group of 100 high school girls and to write an inspirational quote that I could print on a business card for them to keep as a gentle reminder to always carry “forward motion.”
I wanted to write something that centers agency rather than adversity, invites gentle courage instead of hustle, and speaks to awakening as often as one feels called to without urgency or force. and to align with self care, wellness, and self trust.
